Job Description

The Procurement Finance Analyst supports the Procurement team with the goal of driving financial excellence through robust reporting, business analysis, and system development. The Procurement Finance analyst will provide key analytical support and subject matter expertise regarding all financial aspects of procurement. The Procurement Finance Analyst will be a key business partner to both Procurement Category Managers and Site / BU controllers.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • Geographic Scope: AFNA
  • Number of colleagues directly reporting to this job: 0
  • Implement procurement savings rules within BG
  • Ensure savings project pipeline is on track and compliant with Procure Plus savings guidelines
  • Act as business group administrator for Global Savings Tracking Tool (GSTT) and Simfoni Spend Data - conducting new user training, support, and issue resolution
  • Facilitate procurement savings project review and approval with Finance Directors and Site / BU controllers
  • Lead the annual budget process for vendor rebates and raw material inflation
  • Analyze monthly procurement savings for site financial bridges
  • Calculate and support vendor rebate accrual by understanding spend data and contractual vendor rebate programs
  • Identify opportunities for automation or improvements in reporting and data analysis

  • Bachelor's level degree in finance, business, or related field
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Highly organized with the ability to work on multiple projects at any given time
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • SAP and Power BI experience preferred
  • Regular attendance
  • Frequent interaction with others
  • Ability to sit up to 90% of time
  • Ability to communicate up to 100% of time
  • Ability to move from one place to another up to 10% of time
  • Ability to work on a computer 90% of time
  • Office environment
