Overview

BAI, a defense contractor, is seeking a Financial Analyst Journeyman with 3+ years' experience for Department of Defense program onsite at Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake in Ridgecrest, CA. and/or Point Mugu Naval Base in Camarillo, CA. Salary

The typical annual salary range for this position is $100,514.00 USD to $116,800.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.

Responsibilities

Conduct quantitative analyses of financial data and information affecting programs

Interpret complex data and identify trends
Use software tools for data analysis and financial modeling
A Journeyman level person typically performs all functional duties independently
Review financial statements and other data to assess the financial health
Study economic trends and market conditions to provide context for business decisions
Build models to forecast future financial performance and trends
Compile reports that summarize findings and provide actionable insights

Qualifications

3-10 years of experience performing the duties described in the Functional Description and Responsibilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening-for staff, customer and organizational level communications, both formal and informal
Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in financial reports and models
Ability to work independently; self-starter
Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

EDUCATION

Degree: BA/BS degree in a Finance, Economics, Accounting or a relevant technical discipline.

Allowable Substitution: 6 Years additional work experience, or an Associates' Degree plus 4 years additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

CLEARANCE

Condition of Employment: Applicant must have an active DoD Secret Level Clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
