Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing ultrasound imaging of patient's heart for assisting physicians with the diagnosis of patient.
  • Performs Transthoracic Echocardiograms that accesses heart functions, wall motion abnormalities and abnormal valve velocities. Assists and performs trans esophageal echocardiograms.
  • Performs Stress Echo and Dobutamine Stress Echo tests.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Program and/or ARDMS or CCI
  • ARRT, ARDMS or equivalent registered or eligible
  • Full State of New Mexico licensure required within one year of hire
  • Must maintain licensure and national certification/registry
  • BLS

Preferred Job Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree
  • One (1) year of experience in the healthcare/hospital environment
