The University of Virginia seeks applicants for multiple Animal Caregiver opportunities. The Animal Caregiver is responsible for providing animal husbandry and general sanitation for the facility which includes cage-wash duties, use of the sterilizer and general facility upkeep. Work is routine and assigned at the task level, under direct supervision, in consultation with veterinary staff. Incumbents are expected to work a rotating schedule which includes a combination of weekday, weekend, and holiday coverage. What you will do:
