FULL TIME-DAYS About Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital has proudly served residents across Southeast Michigan since 1953. With 632 beds, Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is a major teaching and research hospital and home to five residency programs and a cardiology fellowship in partnership with Wayne State University School of Medicine. Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is verified as a Level II trauma center and accredited by the Joint Commission as a primary stroke center. The hospital is also known for clinical excellence and innovation in the fields of orthopedics, neurosciences, women's health, heart and vascular and cancer care. Scope of Work The school-Based Social Worker collaborates with members of an interdisciplinary team to assist patients and families with complex psychosocial needs. Corewell Health's Expanding, Enhancing, Emotional Health Programs are located on school grounds. Staff members work closely with school administration to provide interventions to students during the school day. The school-Based Social Worker will work within 3 schools to provide evidence-based curriculum on topics that may include but are not limited to, grief, healthy relationships, anger management, suicide prevention, depression, and anxiety. Other tasks include case management, referrals to community-based programs, and follow-up. Options for the summers off. Qualifications
