About the Job

The Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities Campus invites applications and nominations for full-time tenure-track or tenured positions at
open rank, depending upon applicant qualifications. Candidates with demonstrated expertise and accomplishments in BME/bioengineering are invited to apply. Areas of interest include:
Cardiovascular Engineering, NeuroEngineering, and Cancer/Immune Bioengineering. Within these areas, large data analysis, systems, and synthetic biology, particularly with AI integration, are of
particular interest.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a doctorate degree in BME or a related field of science or engineering with strong preference for adjacent training in computer science. The successful candidate is expected to develop a robust externally-funded research program, initiate interdisciplinary and collaborative research, and engage in scholarly publication. The candidate must have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching a diverse group of undergraduate and graduate students, especially in advising Ph.D. students.
