CEC is growing our operations, and we have an excellent opportunity to hire a Principal to contribute to our Waste Management Practice in our Franklin, TN location. As a Principal with CEC, you will assist in expanding the practice in market sectors that include traditional solid waste, recycling and resource recovery, and other waste stream management solutions. You will be responsible for developing new business, managing existing client relationships, as well as managing projects, mentoring junior staff, participating in hiring recommendations, and providing direction on a variety of projects for private and public sector clients.



Qualifications

    15+ years' experience in the waste management industry including engineering design, construction oversight, operations, and management;
  • Demonstrated business development and client relationship management experience required;
  • Strong professional relationships with clients in applicable market sector(s);
  • B.S. in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering (M.S. a plus);
  • Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.); ability to secure Tennessee license;
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D preferred;
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to include proposal writing and reporting;
  • Sound understanding of business principles of consulting projects and related project delivery tools;
    • Strong project management skills , including good communication, leadership, planning skills, and encouraging collaboration; and
  • Desire to promote our safety culture as a core value.
