The Department of Economics within the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa invites applications for one or more Faculty Positions in Economics at the level of Assistant Professor (tenure track) starting Fall 2025. Fields to be considered include labor, health, public economics, and econometrics. For applicants in labor, health, or public economics, the focus will be on empirical research in applied microeconomics. For econometrics, both theoretical and applied research will be considered. These hire(s) are part of our ongoing process of building up our applied microeconomics and econometrics groups. Building on our existing faculty in applied microeconomics and econometrics, we plan on multiple hires over the next few years. We are looking for candidates who will be outstanding scholars and will interact well with the other members of this group. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications.
