Confidential POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
The HVAC/EMCS Supervisor performs direct supervision and guidance of all HVAC and EMCS personnel. Schedules and oversees work for specific areas of responsibility as dictated by the Project Manager. Coordinates availability and application of resources for performance of all in-house work with other shop supervisors and the Operations Manager. Provides on-demand EMCS and HVAC experience to engineers, craftsmen and supervisors. Specific Responsibilities:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Requirements: * Valid state driver's license. * High School graduate or equivalent with prior government purchasing experience. * Ability to read, write, speak, and understand American English to an eighth-grade level for a working knowledge of hazardous, safety, and environmental warnings, as per contract requirement. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate ideas effectively with personnel at all levels. * Ability to work harmoniously with others. * Ability to be discreet in handling confidential information.
