Position Summary:



Yeshiva University's Institutional Advancement department seeks part-time event support for our Long Island division, working with the Senior Director of Institutional Advancement on fundraising and community-building events.



Position Responsibilities:



Managing event logistics on-site and remotely including but not limited to:



  • Setting up a/v
  • Connecting laptops and projection equipment
  • Ordering food for the events
  • Setting up the tables, food, and place settings for the events
  • Ordering centerpieces and/or host/hostess gifts
  • Registration check-in
  • Handling funds
  • Interfacing with event attendees
  • Working with vendors



Experience & Educational Background:




  • Experience working with people



Skills & Competencies:




  • Good organizational skills
  • Pleasant personality
  • Hard-working
  • Must have access to drive to multiple locations



Salary Range:




  • $25-$35 per hour
