Position Summary
This is a POOL position. Application materials for this adjunct position accepted on an on-going basis due to increasing demand for courses in this subject area.

The Workforce and Economic Development Division ( WED) of Metropolitan Community College is the leader in innovative workforce solutions and community enrichment. We partner to first develop our community in order to develop it economically for the growth of the Kansas City metro's citizens; families, businesses, industry, organizations, and associations.

As an instructor you will teach students about the movement of information and products through the supply chain and provide foundational knowledge for front line workers in warehouse operations. You will provide training in forklift safety fundamentals, basic instruction in forklift operation and hands-on driving experience in a warehouse setting under supervision. The warehousing continuing education non-credit courses are often enhanced by a combination of technical training and academic coursework.


Minimal Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Two (2) years of experience in a warehousing or distribution center including forklift operation.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Satisfactory completion of motor vehicle record (MVR) check upon hire

    • A MVR check will be executed annually in adhere to MCC's Motor Vehicle Safety District Regulation (3.05170 DR)
