The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's mission is to be the most essential and engaging source of news and information for the people of Atlanta, Georgia and the South. To achieve that mission, we are transforming ourselves from a storied daily newspaper into a modern media company. The AJC seeks a socially-minded video producer to join our video team to produce, capture and edit content across social platforms. This is a highly skilled, creative and technical role. The ideal candidate understands audience behavior and has a proven track record of optimizing content for social and digital platforms. This producer is also a voracious consumer of news and feature content in its many forms. This role will be hyper focused on vertical content-shooting and editing with Instagram, TikTok and YT Shorts in mind. The ideal candidate can shoot thoughtfully on both an iPhone and cine cameras. This video producer must find creative ways to contribute to our audience goals, develop our social voice, and respond quickly to the news and feature opportunities of the day while working in a fast-paced environment. This candidate must have an obsession with quality, pay close attention to detail, and be comfortable handling multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment. This position is based in Atlanta, GA and may require some travel. Responsibilities:

USD 65,500.00 - 98,300.00 per year Compensation: Compensation includes a base salary of $65,500.00 - $98,300.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program. Benefits: The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
