Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Accountant to join our shared services team.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Key contributor to the monthly general ledger close for international entities and reporting process towards an initial 5-day close
  • Responsible for P&L and Balance Sheet accounting across multiple functional areas, including accruals and prepaids, fixed assets, leases, payroll, intercompany, cash and bank reconciliations, and AP/AR subledger activity, including journal entries, account reconciliations, account analyses, and supporting schedules.
  • Research and investigate financial variances for monthly fluctuation analysis (P&L and Balance Sheet) and resolve issues in an expeditious manner.
  • Own end-to-end close activities across multiple accounting disciplines concurrently, shifting priorities as needed to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Partner with AP, AR, Payroll, Treasury, FP&A, and site/business unit finance leads to resolve issues at the source rather than at the ledger.
  • Support alignment with Shared Services Accounting policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain business process documentation for core accounting activities.
  • Prepare and review accounting for foreign currency transactions, including remeasurement and translation adjustments in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations across domestic and international entities and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Support global consolidation activities, including preparation of elimination entries, consolidation schedules, and foreign entity reporting packages.
  • Partner with regional finance teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of international transactions and adherence to corporate accounting policies.
  • Assist with local statutory reporting requirements, external audits, and compliance activities for international subsidiaries.
  • Research and document accounting treatment for cross-border transactions and other international accounting matters.
  • Collaborate with Tax, Treasury, and FP&A teams to support international operations, intercompany settlements, and foreign currency-related transactions.


Basic Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including hands-on ownership of at least two distinct accounting disciplines (e.g., general ledger, fixed assets, payroll, intercompany, AP/AR).
  • Experience closing the books for multiple entities, sites, or business units.
  • Experience performing account reconciliations, journal entry preparation, and month-end close activities in a multi-entity environment.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes.
  • Experience applying accrual accounting principles and managing period-end cut-off procedures


The salary range for this position is $XX,XXX-$YY,YYY annually. The starting salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
