Full-Time | Fort Atkinson, WI Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour What You'll Be Doing
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment according to established maintenance programs and procedures.
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals, electrical schematics, blueprints, and parts lists to safely repair, maintain, and install equipment.
- Inspect machinery and facility systems regularly to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions before failures occur.
- Maintain, repair, and improve corrugated converting equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Perform basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fabrication work as needed.
- Operate cutting torches, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools to repair or fabricate components.
- Repair and maintain the physical structure of the facility, including both interior and exterior building systems.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve equipment performance, reliability, and safety.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment consistent with 5S principles.
- Strictly follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety standards while performing maintenance activities.
- Collaborate effectively with production personnel and other departments to support operational goals.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or related technical experience.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and basic electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
