Description

Headquarters located in Cincinnati, with around 60 locations across the country, we are looking for a Systems Analyst to join our I.T. team! The Systems Analyst is responsible for the administration, support, security, and continuous improvement of the organization's technology environment. This role works closely with business stakeholders and IT team members to support Microsoft 365 services, virtualization platforms, endpoint management, identity and access management, cybersecurity initiatives, and business-critical applications.

The Systems Analyst applies technical expertise, analytical skills, and a strong customer service focus to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technology issues while helping implement strategic technology solutions that support business objectives. This position serves as a key contributor to infrastructure modernization, security initiatives, and operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Systems Management

  • Administer and support VMware virtual infrastructure and associated systems.
  • Monitor server and infrastructure performance and take proactive measures to ensure reliability and availability.
  • Assist with system upgrades, migrations, patching, and lifecycle management.
  • Support enterprise storage, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
  • Networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall technologies.
  • PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Maintain technical documentation, diagrams, standards, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to identify opportunities for process and technology improvements.
  • Participate in technology projects, infrastructure upgrades, and business initiatives.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions to recurring issues.
  • Active Directory and Windows Server Support.
  • Management & Deployment of Certificates.

Citrix & Business Applications

  • Administer and support Citrix environments that deliver critical business applications.
  • Troubleshoot application performance and user access issues.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to support enterprise software solutions.
  • Assist with application upgrades, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Experience with NetScaler management and troubleshooting

Endpoint Management & Security

  • Manage device deployment, configuration, compliance, and security through Microsoft Intune and SCCM.
  • Support endpoint protection initiatives using Microsoft Defender technologies.
  • Monitor and investigate security alerts and assist with incident response activities.
  • Implement security best practices, hardening standards, and vulnerability remediation efforts.
  • Participate in cybersecurity awareness and risk reduction initiatives.
  • Knowledge in Application Whitelisting for the enterprise.

Microsoft 365 Administration

  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including:
    • Microsoft Entra ID
    • Microsoft Intune
    • Microsoft Defender
    • Microsoft Purview
    • Exchange Online
    • Microsoft Teams
    • SharePoint Online
    • OneDrive for Business
  • Manage user provisioning, licensing, access controls, group membership, and identity governance.
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of Microsoft security and compliance solutions.
  • Support data protection, retention, governance, and compliance initiatives.
Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Associate's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (4) years of progressive experience supporting enterprise technology environments.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, certifications, and experience will be considered.

Preferred Certifications

One or more of the following certifications is preferred:

  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Security Administrator Associate
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
  • Citrix Certified Associate (CCA)
  • CompTIA Security+

Work Environment

  • Hybrid office-based with occasional travel to company locations as needed.
  • Participation in after-hours maintenance activities and on-call support is required as needed.
  • Sitting, walking, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard or mouse, and to handle other computer components
  • Reaching above and below the shoulders
  • Lifting and transporting moderately heavy objects (< 30 pounds), such as computers and peripherals.
  • Potential occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines
