Department's Website: Working under the direction of the Chief Technology Officer, the Test Engineer I will develop and maintain wafer-level and device-level test methods, define test conditions and acceptance criteria, support test-equipment selection and qualification, analyze electrical and product-performance data, and identify trends, anomalies, and potential failure mechanisms. The position will work closely with product engineering, process integration, process engineering, quality, equipment, research, and customer teams to correlate test results with fabrication history and device performance. The Test Engineer I will also support product qualification, reliability evaluation, failure investigation, root-cause analysis, yield improvement, test-method validation, technical reporting, and customer-facing data packages. The position is expected to contribute to the development of repeatable and statistically sound test methodologies appropriate for MUSiC's research, prototyping, and low-volume manufacturing environment. This position may provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, technicians, interns, and student researchers. This position requires regular work in a semiconductor cleanroom environment and may require occasional work outside normal business hours in support of fabrication schedules, equipment recovery, or operational and safety needs. This position is weather essential and may require being on call for emergency response. HAZMAT training will be provided and is required for this position. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
