The Order Quality Auditor serves as the final independent quality checkpoint between our partner and their customer. This role is responsible for ensuring every shipment meets customer requirements, quality standards, and company expectations before it leaves the facility. This position requires the confidence to stop shipments, identify discrepancies, and ensure all issues are fully resolved before approval.

Job Duties



  • Conduct final quality audits of customer orders before shipment, verifying product accuracy, quantities, documentation, labeling, packaging, and customer-specific requirements
  • Serve as the final approval point for shipments, ensuring all quality standards are met and stopping shipments when discrepancies are identifie
  • Follow established quality procedures, maintain audit records, document issues, and verify corrective actions prior to releas
  • Validate order quantities using physical counts, system records, and shipping documentation, investigating and resolving all discrepancie
  • Review shipping paperwork, labels, certifications, and customer-required documentation for accuracy and complianc
  • Ensure orders are properly identified, segregated, packaged, and shipped according to customer and company requirements
  • Identify recurring quality issues, investigate root causes, and recommend process improvements to prevent future error
  • Collaborate with warehouse, shipping, quality, customer service, and operations teams to maintain shipment accuracy and customer satisfaction



Education Requirements



  • High School Diploma or GED is required



Experience Requirements



  • Final, receiving, or shipping inspection is required, Inventory control and order fulfillment experience is required
  • Must be able to read customer specifications and quality plans, ERP and warehouse management systems usage is required
  • Barcode and scanning technology usage is required



Preferred Qualifications



  • Manufacturing quality experience required
  • Distribution or warehouse quality preferred
  • Aerospace, automotive, or defense industry background strongly preferred
  • Prior quality of Hydraulic or industrial product experience is ideal
  • Familiarity of ISO-controlled environments is a plus



Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work around machining equipment throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift materials, tooling, and components weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to safely operate CNC machinery and precision measuring equipment.
  • Ability to work safely around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
  • Must be able to work around moving warehouse trucks/equipment.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Steel-toed shoes are required.
