Now hiring for a Tube Fabrication Technician Location: Manor, TX Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour Shifts Available: 1st Shift: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM, Monday-Friday 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM-11:00 PM, Monday-Friday Steel, Skill, and a Steady Hand. As a Tube Fabrication Technician in Manor, you'll turn raw material into performance - reading blueprints, running exact cuts, and checking your own work. What You'll Do Set up, operate, and adjust manual, semi-automatic, and CNC tube-bending equipment Calculate bends using CLA, E/E formulas, tangents, angles, and bend radii Review blueprints, engineering drawings, process sheets, and sketches to determine tooling and bend requirements Perform precision cutting, shaping, and bending of metal tubing to exact tolerances Inspect finished components to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards Identify, troubleshoot, and correct minor machine issues during production Operate supporting equipment such as band saws, cold saws, facing tools, and deburring tools Communicate directly with engineers to provide feedback on nonconforming processes Perform routine maintenance on the bending and cutting equipment Maintain a safe, organized work area while meeting production and quality objectives Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Technical certification in machining, fabrication, welding, or manufacturing is a plus. Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, process sheets, and work instructions. Experience Requirements Previous experience operating manual, semi-automatic, or CNC tube bending equipment required. Semiconductor and manufacturing experience preferred. Experience calculating bends using CLA formulas, E/E formulas, tangents, bend radii, and angular measurements. Knowledge of Eaton Leonard VB42, Eaton Leonard CBCE 25, Diacro benders, and related tooling preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and make precision adjustments. Experience using band saws, cold saws, facing tools, deburring equipment, and measuring instruments. Ability to inspect finished products to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, and grasp throughout the shift. Lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs. regularly. Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precision fabrication work. Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends as required. Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and cleanroom garments when applicable.
