Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Administrative Coordinator (Dean's Office) for the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (
GSAPP). The position reports to the Associate Dean of Administration and exists to lead high-level administrative support for
GSAPP-wide operations across several buildings' centers and academic departments. The position includes internal operational and business functions including HR (faculty/staff onboarding), Site Management, Procurement, and faculty affairs functions, ensuring compliance with university policy, labor contract processes.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Works as the primary contact for all day-to-day operations for GSAPP which includes other centers of GSAPP.
- Manages the planning and execution of all facilities and space projects from start to finish, including vendor communications, budget management, scheduling, purchasing.
- Works as the main contact for official correspondence to GSAPP faculty and staff from the dean's cabinet.
- Serves as the primary contact/liaison with the other University departments for parking, public safety, facility security, technology, property management.
- Organizes internal meetings, managing the agendas, scheduling and minutes.
- Works with center directors to ensure business expectation are met.
- Contributes to event planning and execution, working within the Dean's administrative team collaboratively and with leadership of specific assignments.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Two (2) years of relevant experience.
