Job Summary


We're looking for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support the movement of materials, parts, and finished products throughout our aerospace manufacturing operation. In this role, you'll receive incoming shipments, prepare outbound orders, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure products are shipped safely, accurately, and on time. You'll play a critical role in supporting production schedules and customer deliveries.

Shift: 1st shift Monday-Friday 8:00a-4:30p



What You'll Be Doing



  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, bills of lading, and other shipping documents.
  • Accurately count, weigh, and record incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Prepare products for shipment, including packaging, labeling, crating, and documentation.
  • Determine appropriate shipping methods to meet delivery requirements.
  • Process shipments using carrier systems and shipping software.
  • Route materials and products to the appropriate departments and work centers.
  • Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
  • Investigate and document shipping discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials.
  • Monitor inventory of shipping supplies and packaging materials to support production needs.
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility.
  • Support the handling and transportation of hazardous materials in accordance with established safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform data entry and maintain records using systems such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.



What We're Looking For



  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to clearly communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and understanding work instructions.


  • 1-3 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience.
  • Experience working with shipping documentation, inventory records, and receiving processes.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with production, quality, and customer support teams.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.



Nice to Have



  • Experience with FedEx, UPS, or other carrier shipping software.
  • Forklift certification or previous forklift operating experience.
  • Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and shipping compliance requirements.
  • Experience handling hazardous materials or regulated shipments



Work Environment & Physical Requirements



  • Manufacturing and warehouse environment with frequent movement throughout the facility.
  • Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials and shipping containers.
  • Frequent use of packaging tools and material handling equipment.
  • Ability to safely lift and move materials and products as required.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Exposure to shipping, receiving, warehouse, and production areas.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.

This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.


The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
