Position Summary
The Congenital Cardiac Catheterization Project on Outcomes (C3PO) within the Benderson Family Heart Center at Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a part-time Clinical Quality Improvement Specialist (RN) to support the operations, data quality, quality improvement, and continued development of a rapidly growing multicenter registry focused on improving outcomes for patients undergoing congenital cardiac catheterization. This position will serve as an important clinical and operational liaison between C3PO leadership, participating centers, research personnel, and technical teams, helping translate clinical knowledge and registry data into meaningful quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports the day-to-day data and quality improvement operations of the C3PO multicenter collaborative.
  • Supports registry data quality and integrity through multicenter data audits, validation activities, data cleaning, adverse-event reporting and review, identification of systematic data-quality issues, and development of processes to improve data completeness and accuracy.
  • Serves as a resource and point of contact for participating C3PO centers regarding clinical and data definitions, data entry, registry processes, and data-quality issues.
  • Assists in the development, implementation, and refinement of C3PO dashboards, center-level reports, benchmarking tools, and other approaches to data visualization.
  • Assists with preparation, organization, and presentation of C3PO educational programming, webinars, collaborative meetings, annual reports, workshops, seminars, orientations, and other communications to participating centers.
  • Participates in C3PO research and quality improvement projects, including data preparation, analysis-file creation, statistical analyses, report generation, research protocols, abstracts, presentations, manuscripts, and grant-related activities as appropriate.
  • Maintains knowledge of relevant clinical, registry, research, and quality improvement practices through ongoing professional development and participation in relevant professional organizations and conferences.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
  • Bachelors in Nursing required, Masters in Nursing preferred.
Experience:
  • 6 years of research and/or clinical experience
Licensure/Certifications:
  • Must have a current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.

Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
