* Follow all publicized safety policies/procedures and JIBS applicable to the job. * Use appropriate PPE that has been identified on the Hazard Analysis for the department/role. * Attend and participate in all safety training, safety meetings, audits and Behavior Based Safety programs assigned. * Report all safety hazards observed. If capable, correct the safety hazard identified.

* Ensure compliance with Laws and Regulations regarding Occupational Health and Safety, as well as compliance with AI expectations * Participate in the development of the annual strategic plan in Health and Safety * Assist and support the Plant Manager in Safety Management * Develop, evaluate and coordinate all health and safety programs * Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions * Coordinate and facilitate Health and Safety Committee, Emergency Response Team and First Aid Team * Conduct SIF safety audit and general safety audit

* Conduct required safety training and safety orientation of new employees and others safety training * Train and audit subcontractor regarding Albany Safety expectations * Identify training needs in health and safety * Analyze safety indicators and make recommendations to reduce the risk of accidents * Act as an agent of change in cultural change to become a world-class organization in security * Foster a culture in which Safety is a value that is never compromised and in which employees are involved and engaged * Reads, understands and is committed to conducting business in accordance to Albany International's Business Ethics Policy.
