Job Summary Spaulding Hospital Cambridge, a 180-bed long-term acute care and rehabilitation hospital within Spaulding Rehabilitation and Mass General Brigham, is seeking a full-time, part-time, and per diem Hospitalists to join our collaborative inpatient team.Qualifications Hospitalist - Long-Term Acute Care Spaulding Hospital Cambridge | Mass General Brigham Spaulding Hospital Cambridge, a 180-bed long-term acute care and rehabilitation hospital within Spaulding Rehabilitation and Mass General Brigham, is seeking a full-time, part-time, and per diem Hospitalists to join our collaborative inpatient team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician who enjoys caring for medically complex patients and values a predictable schedule, manageable census, strong interdisciplinary support, and greater continuity with patients throughout their recovery - with access to the clinical expertise and resources of the broader Mass General Brigham system. The Practice The Hospitalist team at Spaulding serve as attending physicians for medically complex adults who require continued hospital-level care following acute illness, injury, or prolonged hospitalization. Patients may be recovering from critical illness, respiratory failure, neurologic injury, cardiac and pulmonary conditions, infections, wounds, post-ICU care, and other complex medical conditions requiring continued inpatient management alongside rehabilitation. Hospitalists work closely with PM&R physicians, nursing, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, physical and occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, case management, social work, and specialty consultants to provide highly coordinated care. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, education, and internal equity.
