Material Handler

Imagine a role where your keen attention to detail and dedication to excellence are key in ensuring our world-class manufacturing operations function efficiently. As a Material Handler at nVent Management Company, you will support our production team by coordinating material movements and upholding the highest cleanliness and organization standards.

• Retrieve parts and materials for all jobs as needed by installers.
• Replenish point of use carts with needed materials daily.
• Perform daily inspections on forklifts and scissor lifts to ensure flawless operation.
• Maintain the cleanliness of dock, rack storage, and outside storage areas.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness around build pods.
• Perform cycle counts on floor items as directed.
• Assist material clerks with movements of customer-owned property.
• Build dunnage for shipping service material.
• Dispose of crates and pallets in designated dumpsters.
• Empty trash, cardboard, and metal containers.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.

To succeed in this role, a candidate must satisfy the following criteria:

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
