RF Test Technician I

The RF Test Technician I supports the testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting of RF electronic products in a manufacturing environment. This role performs routine test procedures, documents results, and ensures products meet established performance standards. Working under close supervision, the technician follows defined processes, uses standard test equipment, and escalates issues as needed to more senior team members. This position plays a key role in ensuring highquality products are delivered to customers and contributes to the smooth operation of RF test activities on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Execute standard RF test procedures on electronic assemblies following established work instructions.
• Operate test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers under guidance.
• Record and maintain accurate test data, results, and documentation in accordance with manufacturing quality standards.
• Identify basic test anomalies and communicate findings to senior technicians or engineering support.
• Follow all safety protocols, ESD controls, and manufacturing process requirements.
• Support troubleshooting activities by performing retests or data collection as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the test area, equipment, and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and quality goals.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of electronics, electrical measurements, or RF concepts acquired through coursework or hands-on experience.
• Ability to operate or learn standard RF and electronic test equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow structured processes and documentation requirements.
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing team environment.
• This position requires you to have or obtain a government security clearance. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.

Preferred Qualifications

• Coursework, certification, or vocational training in electronics or RF technology.
• Prior experience working in an electronics manufacturing or test environment.
• Familiarity with common RF measurement tools and instrumentation.
• Basic problem-solving skills related to electronic test results.

Physical Demands

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing testing tasks.
• Regular use of hands for handling electronic components, equipment, and small tools.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Work performed in an ESDcontrolled manufacturing and test environment with routine exposure to electronic equipment and test stations.
