Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following locations: North Carolina and Arizona

The Business Development Officer-Equipment Finance Syndications is responsible for developing and executing funding source and syndication strategies that support the growth and profitability of the Equipment Finance business. This position is focused on sourcing, establishing, and managing relationships with banks, financial institutions, independent finance companies, and other capital providers to ensure adequate funding capacity and strategic portfolio growth.


Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Sales - Develops and executes a targeted business plan to increase FCB/LFS awareness, achieve sales and profitability objectives. Strives to identify and implement ways to continually improve our strategic offerings in the market. Utilizes the Bank's prescribed process, methods, and tools throughout a variety of sales and marketing activities including telemarketing and outside sales calls. Maintains pipeline of new business opportunities to acquire accounts. Develops and executes a targeted business plan to increase FCB awareness, achieve sales and profitability objectives.   • Partner Service - Schedules and leads quarterly business reviews, joint business plan integration for FCB and LFS, is the senior single point of contact for both issues and opportunities for partners/programs concerning EF products and services. Works with internal associates to resolve issues. Deep understanding of the competitive landscape and shares insights internally to ensure FCB has a differentiated, best in class offering.   • Relationship Development - Establishes and cultivates deep relationships across partners (including LFS) to identify business opportunities across verticals, segments, and business units to grow EF integration and sales volume/profitability. Maintains productive relationships with all bank counterparts, bringing sales partners into client relationships as needed to manage the total financial services relationship.   • Business Support - Provides internal updates on current and future state with focus on programmatic transaction volume/profitability. Supports Bank initiatives and business strategies. Identifies tools or methods to enhance service and referral performance. Manages risk related to deposit products, ensuring compliance with all federal regulations and maintaining a strong product knowledge base. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 10 years' experience in Commercial Banking; Sales

High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 14 years' experience in Commercial Banking; Sales
