As an Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for the technical data of new and existing products in engineering associated with engine overhaul & component repair. What you'll do:
Maintaining currency with tech manual reviews for potential cost impact associated with material and labor changes. Review service bulletins, manual changes, and incorporates amendments for review. Generates: Temporary Overhaul Data Revisions (TODRs), Unit Build Standards (UBSs), Temporary Parts Listing Revisions (TPLRs) related to repair processes. Prepares production routings and detailed repair instructions based on approved technical data. Provides support to production engineering. Determines the actions necessary to develop new repairs from engineering data. Contributes to the planning and execution of repair trials to generate data for new repairs or to support existing repairs. Analyzes and documents the results of repair trials. Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
Basic Qualifications
Associate's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline (such as A&P or avionics), or 3 years of experience in aviation MRO operations, quality, or a related technical engineering environment. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Demonstrated experience developing or maintaining technical procedures, work instructions, repair instructions, or other technical documentation.

Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills. Strong project management skills. Experience in an aerospace or manufacturing process engineering environment. Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering/technical drawings. Working knowledge of precision measuring instruments Thorough knowledge of failure modes and effects analysis. Thorough knowledge of aerospace materials and processes.
