    Position Summary:

    Shimadzu Scientific Instruments is seeking a Talent Administrator to support the Talent Acquisition team through recruiting analytics, candidate coordination, program administration, early career initiatives, recruitment marketing, and recruiting events. This role will help ensure recruiting data is accurate, candidates and hiring teams receive timely support, and key Talent Acquisition programs operate effectively. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing data-focused work with recruiting coordination and communication. In this position, you will partner with candidates, hiring managers, company leadership, universities, vendors, and staffing partners while handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

    JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:



    • Prepare and maintain Talent Acquisition reports, dashboards, and recruiting metrics using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools
    • Track and analyze recruiting activity, including requisitions, time-to-fill, candidate activity, interviews, offers, hires, and other key recruiting metrics
    • Maintain accurate recruiting data within the Applicant Tracking System, spreadsheets, SharePoint, and other applicable systems
    • Coordinate candidate interviews, interview panels, candidate travel, and other recruiting logistics
    • Support internship and early career recruiting initiatives, including university partnerships, career fairs, and campus recruiting activities
    • Coordinate recruiting events, including scheduling, invitations, communications, meals, materials, and event setup
    • Support recruitment marketing and employment branding by gathering content for social media, recruiting communications, SharePoint, and other approved channels
    • Maintain confidential candidate, employee, and recruiting records with a high degree of accuracy and discretion
    • Assist with Talent Acquisition projects, process improvements, and other departmental initiatives as needed



    EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:



    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field required
    • At least two years of relevant professional experience; relevant internships, co-op assignments, academic projects, recruiting, administrative, or analytical experience may be considered
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel required
    • Experience with SharePoint, Applicant Tracking Systems, HRIS platforms, Power BI, or other reporting tools preferred
    • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
    • Ability to maintain accurate records and handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
    • Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, sound judgment, and commitment to continuous learning
    • Ability to travel to support career fairs, university recruiting, recruiting events, internship programs, and other Talent Acquisition initiatives



    At Shimadzu Scientific Instruments, we believe in providing structured career paths that recognize and reward talent.     Compensation & Benefits:

    This non-exempt, full-time position offers a starting salary range of $56,000 to $58,000 annually, paid semi-monthly. As a non-exempt position, you will be eligible for overtime and double time pay, as outlined in our employee handbook. Eligible benefits include a 401K matching program and discretionary yearly contributions, with detailed information provided at the final interview stage. Additional variable compensation may include a discretionary year-end bonus based on overall company performance.

    In your first year, you will receive 10 paid vacation days, 8 paid personal days, 8 scheduled holidays, and 3 floating holidays. After one year, you'll have access to a generous short-term disability program, with premiums fully covered by the company. Employees are insured at 100% of their salary for the first 6 weeks and 66 2/3% for weeks 7 to 12.
