We Take Care of Our Team

* Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI), document findings, and complete custom check sheets.

* Perform federal DOT inspections when qualified and authorized to do so.

* Assemble or install standard mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, systems, and truck components using shop aids, drawings, and customer, engineering, and production specifications.

*Inspect parts for visible defects or damage; select, position, mount, and fasten components as directed by documentation; verify completed work.

*Work safely, maintain a clean work area, meet quality standards, support continuous improvement, and cross-train on other jobs as needed.

* Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to identify and resolve production, and quality issues.

* Ability to read and follow assembly prints, drawings, and work instructions.

* Computer skills and the ability to communicate effectively with others.

*Willingness to work overtime as required and perform duties across the CTS Technician I work group.

* Prior hands-on experience inspecting commercial motor vehicles, including experience performing federal DOT inspections, and qualifications to perform those inspections in accordance with applicable requirements.

Ability to repeatedly manipulate and grasp hand and power tools; stand on concrete for an entire shift; bend, stoop, twist, and reach repeatedly; lift up to 45 pounds; work periodically under a chassis; and reach overhead for extended periods.
