Surgical Support Technician

As a Surgical Support Technician at Maine Medical Center Biddeford, you'll be the connective tissue that keeps our operating rooms running smoothly, working at the intersection of supply chain, technology, and patient care. Primary Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming surgical supply inventory
• Reconcile physical inventory counts against system records to maintain accuracy
• Support invoice processing and payment coordination for implants and surgical supplies
• Collaborating with surgical specialty leads to ensure the right supplies are available for scheduled cases
• Partner with the Operating Room nursing team, Supply Chain, Sterile Processing, and Surgical Services leadership to keep daily operations on track
• Utilize Infor software to manage inventory data and supply workflows
• Receive tissue and manage books for State compliance

Day to day, you'll move between the stockroom, the OR corridors, and the computer screen, tracking down a missing case cart component one moment and reconciling a supply count the next. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
2. License/Certifications: Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.
3. Experience: Two years of experience in Surgical Services preferred.
4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills and knowledge of surgical asepsis.

The pay range for this position is $21.09to $27.12 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
