Aeromedical Case Manager

Summary:

Goldbelt Halo, LLC is looking for an Aeromedical Case Manager

Essential Job Functions:

• Receive, review, track, and process aeromedical and medical-readiness cases.
• Review medical records for completeness and identify missing documentation.
• Enter and update case information in Air Force and DoD systems.
• Support accession, retention, flying waiver, LOD, RILO, and related medical-review actions.
• Coordinate with Reserve Medical Units, MTFs, providers, ACS, and other stakeholders.
• Track cases throughout the review and adjudication process.
• Assist with appointment scheduling and medical evaluation coordination.
• Compile final case disposition information.
• Respond to members and unit personnel regarding case status and requirements.
• Maintain accurate and timely case documentation and meet established workload standards.

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and ICD-10.
• Ability to interpret and apply medical-administrative policies and standards.
• Strong case tracking, documentation, organization, and customer-service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Microsoft Office and PDF proficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience processing or managing physical exams, medical standards, medical readiness, aeromedical cases, occupational health cases, disability evaluation, or similar medical administrative workflows.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Tier 1 background investigation and Government system access.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Former Air Force medical technician, Medical Standards, Flight Medicine, medical readiness, or aeromedical administration experience.
• Experience with AIMWTS, PEPP, ECT, MEDXS, ASIMS, JLV, or MICT.
• Knowledge of the Aeromedical Waiver Guide, Medical Standards Directory, retention and flying standards, and LOD processes.
