Remote Healthcare Recruiter

Prime Time Healthcare is seeking an experienced Healthcare Recruiter to join our remote recruiting team and help connect healthcare professionals with travel and contract opportunities nationwide.

This role is designed for recruiters who already understand how to build relationships, manage a pipeline, create urgency and close. You will have the autonomy of working remotely, but you will also be expected to bring the discipline, activity level and accountability required to consistently produce.

The ideal candidate has experience in healthcare staffing, recruiting or a high-volume sales environment and knows how to create business rather than wait for candidates to come to them. You should be comfortable prospecting, navigating objections, discussing compensation, asking for commitment and maintaining relationships after the placement is made.

This is not an HR recruiting position. It is a sales-driven healthcare recruiting role where your ability to develop relationships, generate activity and close healthcare professionals directly impacts your earning potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit healthcare professionals for travel and contract opportunities across the country

  • Build and actively manage a pipeline of prospective and working healthcare professionals

  • Generate candidate activity through outbound calls, text, email, referrals, database outreach and other sourcing strategies

  • Develop relationships with healthcare professionals and understand their career goals, compensation expectations, geographic preferences and timing

  • Present relevant opportunities based on each candidate's priorities rather than simply sending available jobs

  • Sell the value of Prime Time Healthcare, available assignments and long-term partnership with our recruiting team

  • Navigate objections involving compensation, location, scheduling, competing agencies and assignment requirements

  • Explain pay packages, assignment details and expectations clearly and confidently

  • Ask for commitments and move qualified healthcare professionals through the submission and placement process

  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates from initial outreach through submission, onboarding, assignment and redeployment

  • Build long-term relationships that lead to repeat assignments and referrals

  • Re-engage former candidates and healthcare professionals who are not currently traveling

  • Partner closely with Account Management, Credentialing, Compliance, Payroll and Operations to move candidates through the process efficiently

  • Maintain accurate recruiting activity, candidate notes and pipeline information within company systems

  • Prioritize high-value opportunities and manage multiple candidates at different stages of the recruiting process

  • Meet or exceed established activity, submission, placement and working-provider expectations

  • Participate in coaching, team meetings and performance discussions

  • Stay current on market conditions, candidate compensation expectations and trends within healthcare staffing

Qualifications
  • Previous recruiting, staffing or sales experience required

  • Healthcare staffing experience strongly preferred

  • Experience recruiting nurses, allied health professionals or other traveling healthcare professionals is preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, build relationships and close

  • Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and conducting consistent follow-up

  • Strong understanding of pipeline management and sales activity

  • Ability to confidently discuss compensation and negotiate with candidates

  • Strong objection-handling and closing skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven ability to establish trust quickly over the phone

  • Self-motivated with the ability to remain productive without direct in-person supervision

  • Highly organized and capable of managing a large candidate pipeline

  • Strong sense of urgency and follow-through

  • Comfortable working toward measurable performance expectations

  • Resilient when candidates decline opportunities, change direction or accept competing offers

  • Coachable and open to adjusting approach based on feedback and performance data

  • Reliable, accountable and comfortable owning individual results

  • High school diploma or GED required

What Success Looks Like

Successful recruiters at Prime Time Healthcare do more than respond to applicants.

They create activity.

They consistently prospect, build relationships and develop a pipeline of healthcare professionals who trust them enough to take their calls and work with them repeatedly.

They understand that recruiting is a long-term relationship business. A candidate who is not ready today may become a placement three months from now. A healthcare professional who has a great experience can become a repeat traveler and a consistent source of referrals.

Our strongest recruiters:

  • Build and maintain an active candidate pipeline

  • Know which candidates are closest to making a move

  • Follow up consistently without needing to be reminded

  • Ask strong discovery questions before presenting opportunities

  • Create urgency without creating unnecessary pressure

  • Handle objections instead of immediately discounting or giving up

  • Ask directly for submissions and commitments

  • Develop repeat travelers and referrals

  • Manage their desk like a business

  • Remain productive and accountable while working remotely

  • Take ownership of both their wins and their misses

  • Consistently look for ways to improve their production

Remote recruiting requires trust. We provide flexibility and autonomy, but we expect experienced recruiters to bring the discipline required to produce without needing someone sitting next to them.
