Our Accounts Receivable Associate offers a detail-oriented individual the opportunity to support the accuracy and timeliness of Lakeside Foods' accounts receivable processes at our Manitowoc Corporate Office. Identify and document discrepancies for review by Sales, Customer Service, Invoicing, and other departments. Maintain accurate files of open and closed discrepancies and ensure they reconcile to the Accounts Receivable Aging. Obtain and distribute supporting documentation needed to route discrepancies for approval. Prepare monthly reconciliations for all Accounts Receivable accounts. Complete follow-up calls for the collection and resolution of open discrepancies. Investigate pending deductions and pursue them through final resolution. Post Accounts Receivable transactions to the General Ledger and reconcile the Aging to the General Ledger. Communicate banking information to customers. Prepare Accounts Receivable journal entries. Maintain accurate records of ACH transfers and apply payments to specific invoices through cashbook entries. Assist and provide backup to other employees within the department. Assist the Accounts Receivable Supervisor with periodic reports. Perform other duties as assigned. What You'll Bring: Working knowledge of Accounts Receivable. ERP experience, with SAP experience preferred. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including spreadsheet navigation and data manipulation tools. Experience writing queries to develop reports. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to accurately analyze and summarize information. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with employees across the organization.
