Job Overview: The Personal Shopping Host owns the hospitality experience across Personal Shopping, elevating every client interaction through thoughtful, seamless, and highly personalized service. Operating in a 1:many model, this role supports multiple Personal Shoppers across flagship suites and satellite spaces, ensuring each appointment reflects Bloomingdale's luxury standards. The Host serves as a key partner to Personal Shoppers-anticipating needs, understanding client preferences, and creating a polished, welcoming environment that enhances the overall selling experience. Essential Functions: Client Hospitality Experience * Deliver elevated, highly personalized hospitality across all Personal Shopping appointments * Anticipate client needs and tailor the experience based on known preferences and behaviors * Create a seamless, welcoming, and refined environment for every client interaction Environment Ownership * Oversee readiness and presentation of all Personal Shopping environments, including suites and satellite spaces * Ensure consistent execution of hospitality standards across all touchpoints * Maintain a clean, organized, and fully prepared environment throughout the day Partnership with Personal Shoppers * Partner closely with multiple Personal Shoppers to align on client preferences, expectations, and upcoming appointments * Act as an extension of the Personal Shopping team to enhance the client experience without disrupting the selling moment Food & Beverage Service * Prepare and serve curated food and beverage offerings to brand standards * Maintain quality, presentation, and service timing throughout appointments Impact * Enhances the quality and consistency of the Personal Shopping experience * Supports client satisfaction, repeat engagement, and overall appointment success * Reinforces Bloomingdale's position as a destination for elevated, hospitality-driven service Qualifications: * 3-5+ years of experience in luxury hospitality, high-end retail, private clubs, or similar client-facing environments preferred * Proven ability to deliver high-touch, personalized service for discerning or VIP clients * Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, professional presence * High level of discretion, attention to detail, and situational awareness * Ability to multitask and operate effectively across multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment * Flexible and service-oriented mindset, with a strong sense of ownership This job description is not all inclusive; additionally, Macy's, Inc. reserves the right to amend this job description at any time.
