You'll help maintain, prepare, and process rolls and equipment that support our rolling mills and other production areas. Operate and monitor grinding equipment Inspect, assemble, and maintain rolls, bearings, and chocks Set up grinding machines and grind rolls to the correct specifications Read work orders, drawings, charts, and production schedules Use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges Inspect finished work for quality and correct specifications Safely lift and move rolls and other materials Operate or learn to operate forklifts and overhead cranes Help troubleshoot problems and minimize equipment downtime Complete basic computer work and maintain accurate records Maintain a clean and safe work area What We're Looking For Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Manufacturing, machining, maintenance, or industrial experience preferred Strong attention to detail Basic computer skills Able to work independently and prioritize tasks Dependable with good attendance Safety-focused and team-oriented Schedule Openings are for 2nd and 3rd shift only: 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM-11:00 PM 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM-7:00 AM
