Ultrasound Technologist - West Valley Region (three 12hr shifts)

This position will support our West Valley Region, primarily at our Calabasas Imaging and Interventional Center. While this position is primarily outpatient based, it requires participation in weekend and holiday medical center coverage support at one of the medical centers that UCLA Health supports. Possible on-call, site rotation and shift rotation may be required, if needed.

In this role, you will:

• Provide age-appropriate assessment and interventions in order to meet the needs of patients and families served
• Obtain, evaluate and use information from the patient requisition, medical records, referring physician and correlate with acquired images
• Use cognitive sonographic skills, to identify and differentiate anatomy and pathology
• Use independent judgement to produce diagnostic images of human anatomy utilizing diagnostic ultrasound systems for our referring providers and our interpreting physicians
• Extend courtesy to our patients, family members, visitors and co-workers through our "World Class Practices" Service Standards

Staff Sonographer:

• One to two years of experience within the hospital / acute care setting
• Must maintain active RDMS certification in one specialty, i.e. Abdomen or OB-GYN
• Graduate of CAAHAP accredited ultrasound program is strongly preferred
• Salary Range: $62.30 - $84.77/Hourly

Senior Sonographer (Advancement into Senior Sonographer job classification may be assessed after 6 months with UCLA Health):

• Minimum of four years of prior experience within the hospital / acute care setting
• Must maintain Active RDMS certification in three specialties: Abdomen, OB-GYN and RVT
• Proficient in Abdomen, OB/Gyn, Pediatric and Vascular Sonography. Additionally, proficiency in interventional procedures
• Graduate of CAAHAP accredited ultrasound school is strongly preferred
• Salary Range: $69.52 - $84.77/Hourly

Salary Range (Staff through Senior): $62.30 - $82.19/Hourly
