Now hiring for a CDL B Driver - Direct Hire

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour + OT after 40 hours worked

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 1st Shift
• Start Time Between 5 AM + 6 AM
• Minmium of 40 hours/week with current expectations of 45 - 60 hours/week

Residential Drivers are responsible for servicing customers by collecting and hauling materials to a disposal site or recycling plant. This position requires the ability to operate various types of trucks. Drivers will service many different routes in various areas and operate different trucks, so excellent driving/maneuvering skills are essential. This position may require driving in congested and/or confined areas. The hours and physical demand may vary by route or area.

Job Duties

• Operate a Class B CDL residential collections and recycling vehicle
• Local - Home Daily
• High-touch freight (residential waste and recyclable materials)
• Collect residential materials
• Transport them to disposal or recycling facilities
• May require lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, and frequent entry/exit of the vehicle

Requirements

• 22+ years of age
• Valid CDL-B license
• Able to operate various types of collection vehicles
• DOT Medical Card
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
• 1 year CDL B truck driving experience (within the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)
