County Casework Supervisor (Local Government) - Lebanon County C&Y

As a County Casework Supervisor with Lebanon County Agency, you will play a key role in shaping services that protect and support vulnerable children. This role provides oversight and coordination of child welfare services to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and agency policies. As a County Casework Supervisor, you will perform the following duties:

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all child welfare activities follow State and Federal requirements
• Document Accuracy: Complete required forms and records in an accurate and timely manner
• Court Preparation: Schedule and review all petitions needed for Court Reviews
• Foster Oversight: Coordinate training, evaluation, and approval of foster families
• Data Management: Maintain reports, statistics, and summaries to support budget preparation

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment

• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or

• Any equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.

Other Requirements:

• This particular position also requires you to possess a valid driver's license which is not under suspension.

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

• This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.

  • Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
