Description
* Direct daily casino operations across assigned gaming departments; maintain floor coverage, service standards, game integrity and operational readiness.
* Develop departmental operating plans, budgets, labor forecasts and performance goals; monitor revenue, expenses, productivity and key gaming metrics and take corrective action as appropriate.
* Review slot and table games performance, game mix, staffing, utilization and guest demand; recommend changes to improve the guest experience and operating results.
* Ensure adherence to Colorado Division of Gaming requirements, approved internal controls, company policies, responsible gaming practices and applicable licensing requirements; coordinate with Compliance on regulatory matters.
* Safeguard company assets through effective controls over gaming equipment, chips, cash-related processes, jackpots, fills/credits, variances and incident escalation within assigned authority.
* Lead, coach and develop department managers and team members; oversee staffing, scheduling, training, performance management and succession planning in partnership with Human Resources.
* Resolve escalated guest concerns professionally; collaborate with Marketing, Casino VIP and Players Club to support player relationships, promotions and service recovery.
* Partner with Security, Surveillance, Cage, Finance, IT, Facilities and Food & Beverage on safe, efficient operations, investigations, equipment needs and guest experience.
* Evaluate gaming equipment, systems, vendor services and capital needs; coordinate approved installations, maintenance and operational changes.
* Prepare timely operational and financial reports for the General Manager; communicate significant incidents, compliance concerns and business trends promptly.
* Maintain a visible presence on the casino floor and support operations during peak periods, weekends, holidays and other business needs.

Supervisory Responsibility:
|
Directly supervises assigned casino department leaders and provides overall leadership to team members within the assigned gaming operations. Responsible for hiring recommendations, training, scheduling oversight, performance management and disciplinary recommendations in coordination with Human Resources.

Work Environment:
|
* Work is performed primarily on-site in an active casino environment with gaming equipment, variable noise levels, lighting and guest traffic. Must be available for a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, based on operational needs. * Requires regular walking and standing on the casino floor, periods of sitting and computer work, and the ability to communicate in a busy environment. May occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals to perform essential functions.

Preferred Education and Experience:
|
* Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business administration or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
* Seven or more years of progressive casino gaming operations experience, including at least three years in a management role, preferred.
* Demonstrated experience with Slots and Table Games operations, budgets, internal controls and team leadership; Poker experience preferred.
* Knowledge of Colorado gaming regulations preferred; ability to obtain and maintain all required gaming licenses and approvals.
