What is the role about?

As a co-op participant at Endress+Hauser, you'll support the Industrial Engineering team by contributing to process improvement efforts that increase efficiency, productivity, and operational effectiveness during a 14-16 week program. You'll gain hands-on experience with real business needs while collaborating with experienced professionals in a global, customer-focused organization.

Which tasks will you perform?

  • Support production improvements and lean process initiatives
  • Create and update documentation such as Work Instructions, TPM, or other technical documents
  • Support kaizen events and cross-functional team projects
  • Communicate with external vendors to acquire tooling quotes and prepare orders for production needs
  • Create, implement, audit, and maintain ISO 9001 Quality process documentation.
  • Update plant layouts by verifying equipment, workstations, storage areas, and workflow paths; incorporate changes into layout documentation to support space planning, process flow, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide hands on involvement in production and construction of necessary production tools, fixtures, and assembly equipment and systems.
  • Additional duties as assigned

What do we expect from you?

You will be (required):

  • Pursing a Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
