What to Expect We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager forDisplaysto drive cutting edge technologies and deliver results in highly innovative and fast paced environment. This position will focus on leading one of the most strategic categories and include managing a Globalsupply base, developing and owning supplier and partner relationships, defining the category andsupplybase strategy, management and negotiation ofSupply Agreements and related contractual execution activities. An ideal candidate will have high ambition to grow within Tesla and bring high energy/impact to succeed in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate through ambiguities/difficult obstacles through collection of facts & data, advanced planning, evaluation of alternatives, open-mindedness, thought-through strategy, and superior communications to lead cross-functional organizations through sourcing activities. What You'll Do Own RFIs, RFQs, and contract lifecycle - ensuring all commercial and technical terms are agreed, documented, negotiated, and executed with key supplier partners Drive continual cost reduction and avoidance through price negotiations, cost modeling, and sourcing strategies Manage all aspects of Display component strategy, including business plans, market intelligence, and technology roadmaps Manage supplier relationships and performance through dispute resolution, scorecards, and periodic business reviews Participate in DFM reviews, change control meetings, and technical discussions with Engineering and SIE partners, driving decisions from a cost and supply perspective Understand technical drawings, specifications, and Display module and component manufacturing processes; communicate findings clearly to internal and external stakeholders and executives via verbal, written, and presentation formats Lead cross-functional teams to manage project timelines and ensure on-time part delivery against internal build plans What You'll Bring 5+ years of experience inSupplyChain Management, Sourcing, Business Development, Strategic Deals Experience and knowledge in CustomDisplay modulesand associated component technologies i.e., LCD, AMOLED, Driver IC, Micro-LED, Backlights, Display Module Assembly etc. Experience and understanding of key vendors for various Display component technologies Strong understanding of costing concepts, i.e, cost reduction strategies, cost modeling etc. Experience in supplier evaluation/selection and strong contract negotiation skills Experience building relationships with engineering, product management, and other cross-functional partners and drive discussions around optimization of technical specifications, and features vs. value trade-offs Degree in Business,Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering or equivalent experience Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Expected Compensation $160,000 - $240,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
