Senior RWE (Real World Evidence) Expert

We are looking for a Senior Real-World Evidence (RWE) Expert who is scientifically rigorous, strategically minded, and passionate about generating impactful evidence. You will join our Global Real-World Evidence team working both with US and non-US colleagues. This is a hybrid position and could be either based out of our offices in Cambridge, MA or Raleigh, NC or Atlanta, GA.

As a Senior Real-World Evidence Expert, you will independently design, lead, and deliver global evidence studies. Your work will inform internal decisions, support regulatory and payer interactions, and advance scientific understanding of disease areas. You will also help shape asset-level evidence strategies and propose innovative approaches in partnership with the Real-World Evidence Strategy Lead.

You will collaborate with statisticians, analysts, epidemiologists, clinical teams, market access and health economics colleagues, safety and pharmacovigilance partners, medical experts, external vendors, and cross-functional asset teams. As an influential scientific contributor, you will align diverse stakeholders and ensure outputs meet strategic, regulatory, payer, and scientific needs.

• Lead complex global evidence studies using diverse methodologies, data sources, and study designs.
• Develop study concepts, protocols, analysis plans, governance processes, and quality-control standards.
• Deliver epidemiology, disease-burden, safety, regulatory, and comparative-effectiveness studies.
• Lead primary data-collection partnerships and high-visibility secondary data-use initiatives.
• Interpret and communicate findings across scientific, regulatory, payer, and strategic forums.
• Shape asset evidence strategies through innovative methods, data sources, and functional thought leadership.

• Master's, PhD, PharmD or MD in a relevant scientific or quantitative field.
• 8+ years of experience designing and delivering real-world evidence studies in industry, or consulting. (Experience from academia may also be considered).
• Strong expertise in RWE methodology including epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, outcomes research, and quantitative methods.
• Experience using a variety of real-world data sources, ideally including both primary and secondary data sources, with an ability to critically evaluate fitness for purpose.
• Ability to create high-quality abstracts, manuscripts, posters, presentations, and scientific communications.
• Excellent communication and influence skills with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Independent project leadership, strategic thinking, innovation, and adaptability in changing environments.

The reasonably anticipated base salary range for this position is $164,000 to $215,300 per year. The actual salary offered will take into account related knowledge, skills, experience and location among other factors and may fall outside the expected range.
