Reports to: Timothy Face
Hourly rate: $22.50 per hour
Hourly appointment: Up to 14 hours per week, no more than 400 total hours

Job duties/Responsibilities:

  • Editing manuscripts for the journal, Studies in Hispanic and Lusophone Linguistics, accepted for publication
  • Creating lists of problems or missing information that needs to be requested from authors
  • Formatting accepted manuscripts according to the publisher's specifications
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Academic editing experience
  • Graduate degree in linguistics
  • Near-native or native fluency in Spanish and English
Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $22.50 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
