Inventory Control Specialist - Saginaw, MI

Key Responsibilities

Stock Monitoring:

• Track inventory levels in real time using software and identify when to reorder items.

Auditing and Reconciling:

• Conduct regular cycle counts and spot-checks, investigating any discrepancies between physical stock and system data.

Shipping and Receiving:

• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, inspect goods for damage or missing parts, and prepare outgoing items.

Organization:

• Label and store products safely and logically in a warehouse, stockroom, or distribution center.

Reporting:

• Generate inventory reports and communicate findings or delays to management, purchasing, and logistics teams.

Skills Required

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with spreadsheet programs (like Microsoft Excel) and Warehouse Management Systems.

Analytical Skills:

• Strong attention to detail for reviewing numbers, spotting trends, and solving discrepancies.

Physical Stamina:

• Ability to stand, walk, use loading equipment (like pallet jacks or forklifts), and lift heavy packages (often up to 50 lbs).

Experience Required
