Officer, Guard Training, HWAD

We're looking for an experienced Guard Training Officer.

The Guard Training Officer develops, maintains, delivers, and documents security training programs for the Guard force at Hawthorne Army Depot. This position supports new-hire and annual training, weapons qualification, physical agility testing, training records, audits, and security investigations to support compliant and effective Guard operations

Position may require security clearance, consistent with contract requirements and government approval. U.S. or Naturalized citizenship is required.

This position is located on site in Hawthorne, NV.

As the Guard Training Officer, here's the work you'll do:

• Develop security training programs, annual training schedules, facilities, and related budget inputs for the Uniformed Guard force, including Alarm Room Operators. Maintain training structure and resources to support readiness and compliance
• Deliver required new-hire and annual Guard training, including classroom instruction, field training, weapons training, weapons qualification, and physical agility testing. Certify required qualifications and monitor annual compliance for applicable employees
• Compile training, labor, timekeeping, operational, and compliance data for reporting to leadership and outside entities. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and internal operating procedures that support consistent Guard operations
• Coordinate training and certification documentation with Human Resources, Training, and Compliance. Represent Security during inspections, reviews, and audits of training and certification records, and manage the Individual Reliability Program for the Security force
• Perform investigations related to vehicle accidents, property damage, discrepancies, or security incidents. Complete incident reports, collect photographs and evidence, and support accurate documentation and escalation
• Support related security duties consistent with job scope and business needs, including occasional Field Supervisor coverage and flexible scheduling for nights or weekends as needed to meet training requirements. Maintain high ethical standards and comply with Company policies, safety expectations, and the Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct.

• High School Diploma or GED required..
• 3+ years of security, law enforcement, or military experience, including at least 6 months of training, instruction, or equivalent education/experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all certifications required by the Company's Master Training Plan.
• Valid driver's license required. Must be able to obtain and maintain certification as a firearms instructor with the Private Investigators Licensing Board (PILB), appropriate government security clearance, and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives clearance as required.
• If armed, must satisfactorily complete required physical and physical agility testing in accordance with applicable requirements. Must perform work safely and remain alert to potential work and safety hazards while performing safety-sensitive duties.

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the hourly pay range for this role is $67200- $100,800. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
