Job Description

The Digital Solutions Developer (DSD) will design, build, and deploy Microsoft Power Platform solutions that automate data gathering, workflows, and executive reporting for the Launch and Test Range Systems (LTRS) Program Office, Space Launch Delta 30, and Space Launch Delta 45. The position works within a four-gate capability delivery pipeline and owns the technical build from data validation and architecture (Gate 2) through Minimum Viable Product (MVP) development and user validation (Gate 3), with MVPs delivered within six weeks of Gate 2 approval. The successful candidate must be able to turn loosely defined leadership needs into working applications, automated flows, and dashboards that replace manual reporting and give senior acquisition leaders current, decision-quality information. All solutions are built within Government-furnished environments using Government-licensed tools and are documented so that Government personnel can operate and sustain them. Contractor personnel provide advisory and technical support and do not act as final Government approval or decision-making authority.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and configure Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate flows, and SharePoint solutions that automate data gathering, workflows, and executive reporting.
  • Develop Power BI data models, dashboards, and reports that give leadership current visibility of acquisition, portfolio, financial, and range project data.
  • Identify authoritative data sources, define data structures and solution architecture, and establish Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) approaches for each capability effort during Gate 2.
  • Develop MVPs within six weeks of Gate 2 approval and help the Government decompose larger requirements into executable increments when a six-week MVP is not achievable.
  • Conduct user feedback sessions, capture required refinements, and validate data accuracy and reporting reliability before Gate 3 approval.
  • Apply data governance and quality standards; identify data anomalies and inconsistencies across SharePoint, shared drives, Government systems, and locally maintained trackers; and recommend remediation approaches.
  • Document each production solution in the LTRS Data Registry, including authoritative sources, data owners, access paths, refresh cadence, and sustainment steps, and update the entry within five business days of any change.
  • Prepare user documentation, training materials, and onboarding for Government users at release (Gate 4), and support transition of delivered capabilities to Government sustainment.
  • Support baselining of manual labor hours for recurring reporting products and measure the hours reclaimed by each automated process.
  • Maintain and adapt delivered solutions as reporting requirements, data sources, and mission needs change, including troubleshooting failed flows and data refreshes.
  • Build exclusively within Government-furnished environments and Government-licensed tools, and follow the environment, connector, and security policies set by Government tenant administrators.
