Now Hiring a Fastener Technician Location: Fremont, CA Pay Range: $28.00 - $33.00/hour Ready to put your mechanical testing and laboratory skills to work on innovative engineering projects? We are seeking a detail-oriented Fastener Technician to support product testing, laboratory operations, and engineering validation activities in a fast-paced environment. Job Duties Perform fastener and mechanical joint testing, including torque and tension evaluations Execute tests, collect data, and prepare reports for engineering review Assist with root cause investigations and failure analysis activities Maintain, calibrate, and organize laboratory equipment and testing assets Support development and adherence to laboratory procedures and quality standards Manage inventory, test samples, and laboratory supplies Coordinate shipping, receiving, and logistics for parts and testing materials Assist with tooling setup, fixture fabrication, and specialized test configurations Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory environment Qualifications Experience with mechanical testing, torque tools, or fastener systems Knowledge of torque, tension, friction, and mechanical joint principles Experience operating testing equipment such as Instron, Kistler, or similar systems preferred Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills Excellent organizational, communication, and time management abilities Automotive, manufacturing, aerospace, or laboratory testing experience is a plus Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification preferred Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Commuter/Parking Accounts People Perks Health Savings Account (HSA) AD&D Insurance Take the next step in your career and gain valuable hands-on testing experience with a leading engineering team.
