The Omni Fort Worth Hotel is searching for dedicated hospitality professionals with guest service mentality to join our extraordinary team! Responsibilities: * Maintains (paint, wallpaper, plaster, etc.) all public areas and guest rooms on an on-going basis. * Keep the hotel decor in good condition. * Clean all work areas after completing job. * Fill out Daily Work form. * Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and other emergencies. * Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations. Qualifications: * Minimum 1 year commercial painting experience required. Vinyl wall covering experience preferred. * Ability to work in the interior and exterior of the hotel and work with paints, plaster and other painting materials, performing inspections and making painting repairs. * Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management and co-workers. * Candidate must have excellent time management skills, the ability to work with both internal and external customers and a keen eye for detail * Must be able to handle frequent lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying of objects weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance. * Stand or walk for extended periods of time or for an entire shift. * Frequent bending and/or kneeling required. * 100% of mobility required in all areas of hotel property and ground. * Must be able to climb a ladder, work in high places and confined areas. * Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays Omni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity/AA/Disability/Veteran employer.
