Senior Web Designer - Brand Creative

We are seeking a talented Web Designer to join a fast-paced Brand Creative team, focusing on high-volume email and digital design. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in crafting visually stunning and effective digital content that resonates with customers and drives engagement. You'll bring your strong visual design skills and hands-on production expertise to a collaborative environment, making a tangible impact on marketing and merchandising objectives.

What You'll Do

• Design elevated, brand-right digital creative that supports both marketing and merchandising objectives.
• Create and deliver high-volume email and web creative from initial design through final production.
• Produce, optimize, and output final web-ready digital assets.
• Review proofs and verify that email creative is rendering accurately before delivery.
• Work on upcoming creative while simultaneously managing revisions, routing changes, and final deliverables.
• Source and select imagery to support digital creative.
• Edit, crop, retouch, and composite photography for digital applications.
• Incorporate animation and motion into digital creative as needed.
• Stay closely connected to business updates and quickly incorporate changes into creative.
• Partner with designers and cross-functional teams to develop creative solutions for evolving business needs.
• Maintain exceptional accuracy and attention to detail throughout the design, proofing, and production process.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4-5+ years of professional digital/web design experience.
• Advanced/expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly:

• Hands-on Figma experience is required.
• Strong animation/motion design capabilities.
• Advanced Photoshop skills, including photo editing, compositing, cropping, and image manipulation.
• Strong design fundamentals across typography, imagery, composition, and color.
• Working knowledge of web and digital design best practices.
• Proven ability to take projects from initial concept through final production and delivery.
• Experience producing a high volume of digital assets while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate changes, updates, and creative decisions.
• Resourceful, proactive self-starter who can work independently while remaining highly collaborative.
• Comfortable working as part of a team of designers and partnering across multiple functions.
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and quickly adapt to changing business needs.
• Awareness of current digital, social, retail, and design trends.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Previous retail, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or consumer brand design experience.
• Experience working within an established brand's creative or in-house design team.
• Senior-level design experience is preferred.
• A strong and diverse portfolio demonstrating digital design, email creative, production expertise, and animation.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Visual Communications, or a related discipline preferred.
• Familiarity with Dynamic Text Standards is a plus.

We're especially interested in designers who bring a diverse portfolio, strong retail experience, senior-level creative exposure, and demonstrated experience producing polished digital work at scale. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, flexible, and willing to jump in wherever needed to help the broader creative team deliver exceptional work.

This is a contract opportunity with the potential for conversion to a full-time position. Aquent will provide a company computer/equipment for this role.
