Overview

Program Manager, Business Transformation & Innovation

Location: United States Work Arrangement: Remote

About the Role

The Program Manager, Business Transformation and Innovation converts corporate strategy into disciplined, measurable execution - serving as the connective tissue between the direction leadership sets and what teams actually deliver. This role establishes the operational foundation and automation needed to sustain global hypergrowth, with a specific mandate to apply AI and intelligent automation so that manual, one-off work becomes repeatable systems that scale.

Technology Tools
    Modern Work Management Platforms
  • AI & Intelligent Automation Tooling
  • Business Systems Platforms
Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.
  • Translate corporate strategy and annual objectives into a defined portfolio of programs - breaking executive direction into specific workstreams, owners, and deadlines while designing and running the operating cadence that keeps programs accountable through planning, checkpoints, and escalation paths.
  • Design and document the processes, playbooks, and standards that govern how cross-functional work moves through the organization - establishing a single source of truth for program status, ownership, decisions, and outcomes while building and operating the intake and prioritization model that determines what the organization takes on and what it declines.
  • Identify manual, repetitive, and high-volume workflows and prioritize them by effort saved, risk reduced, and scale enabled - evaluating AI and automation options against defined business use cases through hands-on testing and making clear build, buy, or decline recommendations while leading rollout end to end.
  • Drive adoption of AI and automation through training, documentation, and change management - partnering with IT, Business Systems, and Security on build, integration, data handling, and compliance requirements while tracking emerging tools and practices and bringing forward those with credible business application.
  • Own assigned programs end to end - carrying full accountability for outcomes rather than coordination alone, building and maintaining the documentation, artifacts, and repositories that make owned programs auditable and repeatable, and reporting on program health, risks, dependencies, and outcomes at the executive level.
  • Communicate strategy, progress, risk, and tradeoffs to senior stakeholders in a structured, decision-oriented format - building credibility and alignment across functions without direct authority, surfacing risk early with a recommended course of action, and maintaining a decision log so that decisions are recorded, communicated, and durable.
Role Essentials

You'll be set up for success if you have:

  • 8-12 or more years in program management, business operations, transformation, or strategy execution - including at least 3 years running enterprise-scale, cross-functional programs and a proven track record of owning programs personally, including documentation and follow-through, rather than only overseeing delivery by others
  • Hands-on experience evaluating and rolling out AI or automation tooling - including pilot design, baseline measurement, defined success criteria, and driving adoption through to steady state with demonstrated ability to make clear build, buy, or decline recommendations
  • Demonstrated record of building operational infrastructure from the ground up - such as governance models, reporting systems, or process frameworks that outlasted the individual who built them, with proven ability to translate executive strategy into concrete, sequenced workplans
  • Strong influence without authority - with a track record of aligning senior stakeholders across functions, executive-grade written and verbal communication skills with the ability to brief a leadership team in a single page, and comfort operating in ambiguity and making sound decisions with incomplete information
  • Working knowledge of modern work management and automation platforms - with the ability to identify and remove structural friction, including duplicated effort, unclear handoffs, and decisions without a clear owner; experience in a high-growth, global, or post-acquisition environment is strongly preferred
What We'd Like to See

Bonus points if you bring:

  • Experience in a high-growth, global, or post-acquisition environment - with a track record of establishing the operational foundation and automation needed to sustain scale and a demonstrated ability to convert corporate strategy into disciplined, measurable execution
  • Familiarity with partner ecosystems, enablement, or professional services operations - with experience ensuring solution authorizations are complete, current, and documented and working directly with Enablement, Services, Product, and partner-facing teams to close gaps
  • Formal credentials such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or Prosci change management - with the ability to apply sound judgment across competing priorities and incomplete information while holding cross-functional partners accountable in a way that preserves working relationships
  • Experience designing and running operating cadences that keep programs accountable to their commitments - including planning, checkpoints, and escalation paths that create clarity and drive accountability across senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Track record of driving AI and automation adoption through training, documentation, and change management - ensuring that new capability becomes the way work is done rather than a pilot that fades, with experience partnering with IT, Business Systems, and Security on build, integration, data handling, and compliance requirements
